Warm weather across the province this week resulted in a daily high temperature record for the Nordegg area on Wednesday.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the Nordegg area broke its old record for Dec. 13 of 11.7 degrees Celsius set in 1952, with a new record of 11.9 degrees Celsius set on Wednesday. Records in the Nordegg area have been kept since 1915.
