The Rocky Rams return to action this weekend after splitting their games last weekend.
On Friday, the Three Hills Thrashers come to town for a date with the Rams. So far this season, the Thrashers have a record of 12-17-4, placing them in fourth place in the Heritage Junior Hockey League’s Northern Division. The Thrashers dropped both their games last weekend.
Puck drop is at 8:30 p.m. at the Rocky Arena.
Meanwhile, the Rams have a record of 14-17-3, placing them just above the Thrashers in third place in the Northern Division.
On Saturday, the Ponoka Stampeders will come into Rocky for the Rams last home game of the regular season.
This season, the Stampeders have had a miserable year, sitting dead last in the Heritage Junior Hockey League standings with a record of 1-33-1. The Stampeders are coming into Rocky dropping their last 24 games in a row. The only victory the Stampeders got this season came on Oct. 22, 2023, after they beat the Red Deer Vipers 3-2.
