The special weather statement issued on Monday by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has now been upgraded to a snowfall warning.
ECCC says snow is expected to begin this evening and become light by Wednesday afternoon.
Flurries are then expected to return through Thursday with accumulation of 10 to 15 centimeters.
Officials note flurry accumulation may be heavy at times and visibility may suddenly be reduced.
Officials also remind motorists to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions and, while driving, to turn on your headlights and maintain a safe following distance. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
