Northern Crossing Music and Drama Society invites everyone to their 2024 Spring Musical. This year, the organization is presenting the classic rock ‘n’ roll musical, Grease.
Taking place at the Lou Soppit community center, shows begin Friday April 26, Saturday April 27, with a Sunday matinee on April 28. Then evening shows continue on May 2nd, 3rd & 4th.
Director Mikayla Ahlstrom says a lot of local talent has come together to put this show on. “We have an insane amount of local talent in this cast. Amazing new talent as well that hasn’t been seen before on the Northern Crossing stage. [They’re] young and full of life.”
Based on the 1978 film, Ahlstrom says the performance will feature all favorite from the movie. “Whether you’re a die hard fan of this cult classic, or experiencing it for the first time. This young cast is bringing a new life to this show that’s never been seen before.
Ahlstrom assures everyone that all the favorite tunes like “Summer Nights” and “Greased Lightnin” will be part of the show. “It’s all going to be there. And even a little bit more than what’s seen in the original movie.
