STARS Air Ambulance was dispatched to the Clearwater County region twice over the Easter long weekend.
On March 29, officials say STARS attended to a single vehicle collision near Nordegg at Hwy 11 & RR170. They say a vehicle hit a patch of ice and crashed. The lone occupant of the vehicle, a 19-year-old female driver was taken by STARS to hospital and is expected to recover.
Another incident saw STARS respond in the Rocky Mountain House region on March 31. Officials say they have no additional information regarding this callout.
