Everyone is invited to get their tickets for the upcoming Murder Mystery Vegas Vendetta dinner theatre, May 10 at the Lou Soppit Community Centre.
Benefiting the Mountain Rose Women’s Shelter, organizers say the evening will feature a roast beef dinner, an interactive live theatre performance and a dance to follow.
Cindy Easton, executive director of the Mountain Rose Centre, says it’s an important fundraiser for her organization.
“All the proceeds will go toward women and children fleeing violence,” says Easton.
Easton adds the Mountain Rose Centre, which operates the shelter, provides programming for people experiencing gender-based violence. The centre houses a 28-bed emergency shelter, a five-apartment second-stage accommodation, a housing support program, outreach services, and women’s support groups.
Easton adds everyone is invited to dress in their cheesiest 70s-inpired Vegas outfits and interact with cast members who will be in character throughout the night in order to solve the “murder.”
Tickets are $75 each for this 18+ event. Ticket packages include $800 for a reserved table of eight.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
