Continuing a trend from the previous month, April saw an increase to the number of home sales in Rocky Mountain House.
That’s according to the latest Market Update from Central Alberta Realtors Association which shows 28 units sold last month, up from 17 units sold in March, but down from 42 units sold in March 2023.
Year-to-date numbers show 55 units sold in Rocky Mountain House so far in 2024, down from 75 units sold during the first four months of last year.
The average sale price in Rocky Mountain House last month was $328,182, up from $295,259 in March and up from $289,300 in April 2023.
Meantime, the average number of days to sell a home in Rocky Mountain House in April was 64, up from 33 days in March and down from 94 days in April of last year.
For the entire Central Alberta market, there were 1,669 units sold in April, up from 1,111 units sold in March and 1,391 units sold in April of 2023.
Year-to-date figures show 3,680 units sold throughout central Alberta in the first four months of this year, up from 2,997 units sold to this point last year.
The average sale price in Central Alberta in April was $406,108, up from $385,699 in March and up from $355,219 during the same month last year.
The average number of days to sell a home in Central Alberta last month was 47, down from 51 days in March and 56 days in April 2023.
