Rocky Mountain House RCMP are investigating a firearms complaint stemming from a July 15 incident.
Officials with STARS Air Ambulance say it was dispatched to the Rocky Mountain House area for a scene call emergency.
Upon arrival after 10:20 a.m., a male patient in his 20s with injuries consistent with a firearm was identified. The male was then transported by STARS to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.
Officials with RCMP K-Division confirm they are investigating a firearms complaint which occurred around the time of the STARS call out.
