A wind warning is in effect for the Nordegg – Forestry Trunk Road Highway 734 area today.

Meteorologists with Environment Canada say strong winds with gusts to 90 km/h are expected to develop tonight but will begin to ease Thursday afternoon.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may also be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.

• Clearwater Co. near Nordegg and Big Horn Res.
• Clearwater Co. near Ya-Ha-Tinda Ranch
• Yellowhead Co. near Cadomin and Robb
