The Rocky Mountain House and District Chamber of Commerce will be holding a public, ‘member mixer’ event Sept. 19, featuring presentations from three national organizations.
Michelle Meatheringham, executive director of the Rocky Chamber, says the presentations will come from Chambers Plan, Payworks and Emergency Management Logistics Canada.
Meatheringham says Emergency Management Logistics Canada will have a major announcement during the event regarding its operation in Alberta.
The organization works across the country equipping communities with information and tools for disaster preparedness, she says.
The other presenting organizations, Chambers Plan – specializes in employer health benefits, while Payworks is a payroll system.
Meatheringham adds members will also be on site answering any questions ‘potential members’ have about being a member of the Rocky Chamber.

Admission is $10 for existing Chamber members, and $15 for ‘potential members’.
The member mixer will happen Thursday, Sept. 19, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Chi Mac restaurant (4831 50 St.) in Rocky Mountain House .
