The Rocky Mountain House Chamber of Commerce, along with partners, the Town of Rocky Mountain House, Clearwater County and Discover Rocky in David Thompson Country are set to present the 2024 Passport to Christmas campaign.

Participants can pick up a ‘passport’ at participating businesses to be filled out for a chance to win prizes.

Every $10 spent at participating local businesses gets one stamp. Once participants get 10 stamps, they can then enter the draw.

This year’s prizes include a first place prize of $1000, second place is $500 and third place is $250.

All prizes will be awarded in ‘chamber bucks’, which are accepted at participating businesses, says Michelle Meatheringham, executive director of the Rocky Chamber.

Additionally, there will be daily $100 draws starting Nov. 15. Passports will be collected every Thursday, with draws made for the following week, says Meatheringham.

The promotion will run Nov. 12 through Dec. 22 with grand prizes being drawn Dec. 23.

Meatheringham says the 2023 passport promotion tracked $2.5 million spent at local businesses, and invites everyone to join in to increase that number this year.

Additionally, all businesses are invited to join the campaign as a participant, sponsor or both.

Participating businesses will be recognized on air on 94.5 Rewind Radio as well as on social media.
