The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has been called in to investigate a possible homicide following the discovery of a body in Clearwater County last week.

On Nov. 15, 2024, Rocky Mountain House RCMP received a report of a body, located by hunters in a wooded area of Clearwater County.

RCMP along with a Fish & Wildlife officer, attended and confirmed the finding of a recently deceased person with injuries. Mounties say the deceased has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the death is being investigated as a homicide.
