The Rocky Mountain House Public Library is bringing back the Giving Tree donation initiative for 2024.
It is accepting donations of new winter items, such as jackets, socks, mittens, gloves, toques, and more.
Visitors will notice the Giving Tree on display in the library, with a box for dropping off donations set up next to it.
All items collected will be passed on to Santa’s Anonymous to help those in need.
Library manager Ben Worth said the 2023 event was a huge success, with two large boxes of donations collected before Christmas.
“I think it’s great that community members have come together for Santa’s Anonymous,” said Worth. “This is all thanks to the hard work of dedicated community members.”
Worth adds that donations can be brought to the library until December 9.
