Many Town of Rocky Mountain House amenities will be will free of charge during the Free Community Day on November 29— part of the weeklong Christmas With Kin celebration.
The day is set to feature four free movies at Rocky Cinemas:
- How The Grinch Stole Christmas at 9 a.m.
- Home Alone at 11:30 a.m.
- National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at 2 p.m.
- Elf at 4:30 p.m.

Free skating at the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Organizers say the rink will be opened up for skating and games, as well as pickup hockey.
Free public swimming will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Credit Union Co-op Aquatic Centre.
A Christmas market will also be held at the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
