The Rocky Mountain House real estate market saw a drop in November home sales compared to the previous month.
That’s according to the latest Market Update from Central Alberta Realtors Association which shows eight units sold last month in Rocky Mountain House, down slightly from 10 units sold in Ocotober, and down from the 10 units sold in November 2023.
Year-to-date numbers show 132 units sold in Rocky Mountain House so far in 2024, tracking closely to the 136 units sold during the first 11 months of last year.
The average sale price in Rocky Mountain House last month was $226,737, down from $312,480 in October and $275,250 in November 2023.
Meantime, the average number of days to sell a home in Rocky Mountain House in November was 56, down from the 74 day average in October, and down from 69 days in November of last year.
In Clearwater County, there were 15 units sold last month, down from 18 sold in October, and 19 units sold during the same month in 2023.
Year-to-date numbers show 238 units sold in Clearwater County so far this year, up from the 228 units sold to the end of November last year.
The average sale price in Clearwater County in November was $352,693, down from $397,478 in October, and from $411,889 in November 2023.
The average number of days to sell a home in Clearwater County last month was 56 days, down from 81 days in October, and down from 85 days during the same month last year.
