The Central Alberta Forage and Livestock Association (CAFLA) is hosting a free workshop on March 17, offering valuable insights into soil testing and how to interpret results. The workshop, titled The ABC’s of a Soil Test Report, will take place at the Leslieville Community Centre from 9:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Whether you are new to soil testing or have experience but find yourself uncertain about how to use the results, officials say this event is designed for you. The workshop will provide step-by-step guidance on how to read and understand your soil test reports, breaking down key indicators that can influence your farm’s health and productivity.
Organizers say participants will have the opportunity to learn how to turn soil data into actionable insights, improving soil management for better crop and forage production. Experts will be on hand to help attendees navigate their results and answer any questions they may have.
Lunch will be provided, and registration is required to ensure a spot. You can sign up by calling 403-844-2645, or register online by clicking here.
