The highly anticipated First Responders Face-Off for Charity is returning for its fourth year on March 22, bringing the Clearwater Regional Fire Rescue Services team head-to-head against the Rocky Mountain House RCMP detachment for a good cause.
The exciting hockey event will take place at the Bunch Arena, where local first responders will lace up their skates and hit the ice for a friendly but competitive game. The event will also feature a special guest appearance by Jacob Ardown, one half of the comedic hockey duo “On the Bench.” Ardown, alongside Olly Postanin, is known for their humorous commentary and over-the-top “expert” advice on hockey fundamentals, adding a fun and lighthearted touch to the event.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Alberta Hunter Education Youth Program, helping to teach young Albertans safe and responsible outdoor practices.
The event is organized independently by local firefighters and RCMP, showcasing the collaboration between local first responder teams and their commitment to giving back to the community.
Tickets for the game will be available at the door, with cash only payments. For those looking to bring large groups, tickets can be purchased by emailing rmhfaceoffforcharity@gmail.com.
