One person has been charged after being stopped in an allegedly stolen struck.
Police say it was April 8 when Rimbey RCMP attempted to stop a stolen truck which then fled the area.
RCMP Crime Reduction units from Central Alberta District and Rocky Mountain House were deployed to assist.
Thanks to witnesses, RCMP were able to located and observe the vehicle. Police were then able to arrest the driver, a 38-year-old from Wetaskiwin County, without risk to the public.
The arrest took place near a residence in the Buck Lake area.
Charges are pending.
