The wildfire danger in the Rocky Mountain House forest are has been moved from moderate to low.
That according to Alberta Wildfire which says while concern have eased, with sunshine and warmer temperatures, winds can quickly dry grass and vegetation, which increases the risk of a fast moving wildfire.
Alberta Wildfire is asking residents to use caution when spending time in forested areas. Officials also note that if you are riding an off highway-vehicle, check hotspots regularly, which can cause dry grass to ignite.
You can report smoke or fires in the forest area by calling 310-FIRE (3473).
