A Wind Warning is in effect for the Nordegg- Forestry Trunk Road Highway 734 area.

Meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada say strong winds of 70 km/h with gusts up to 90 km/h will develop this morning but will ease by Thursday evening.

The Wind Warning is in effect for:

• Clearwater Co. near Chungo Creek

• Clearwater Co. near Nordegg and Big Horn Res.

• Clearwater Co. near Ya-Ha-Tinda Ranch

• Yellowhead Co. near Cadomin and Robb

Officials say damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
