Its a municipal by-election day in Rocky Mountain House to replace former councillor Merrin Fraser.
Voting is taking place at the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Town officials note, all Canadian citizens 18 years of age or older who reside within the Town of Rocky Mountain House on Election Day can vote.
However, Town officials want residents to come prepared. All voters must show ID and proof of a Rocky Mountain House street address, as well as an authorized voter identification that states your name and address, such as one of the following documents:
• Government photo ID showing name and current address.
• Bank or credit card statement or personal cheque.
• Government cheque or cheque stub.
• Income or property/tax assessment notice.
• Insurance policy or coverage aid.
• Residential lease or mortgage statement.
• Utility bill (power, internet, gas or water bill)
• Vehicle ownership, registration or insurance certificate.
