The Rocky Rams split their games over the weekend.
On Friday the Rams travelled to Airdrie to play against the Techmation Thunder.
In the first period, the Thunder managed to get 16 shots on Rams goalie, Lex Watson who held his ground stopping all 16. The Rams also would not find the back of the net with their seven shots.
In the second period, the Thunder would score just 3:16 into the middle frame after Will Barrett scored, with assists coming from Joey Haden and Jeremy Jobin to make it 1-0 Airdrie. The Rams would end up giving up a late second period goal when Thunder forward Joey Haden scored with just 10 second left, with the assists from the sticks of Kyle Shoemaker and Jeremy Jobin giving the Thunder a 2-0 lead.
Halfway through the third period is when the Rams would find the back of the for the first time after Owen Green would get his third goal of the year at 11:16, with assists coming from Nick Jervis and Jakob Weimer, making the score 2-1. However, the Thunder would answer just two minutes later when Justin LeGrandeur would find the back of the net, which would end up being the last goal of the game and give the Thunder a 3-1 win. The assists came from Jared Miller and Aidan Moore.
The Rams powerplay would struggle going 0/4, while Airdrie went 0/2 with the man advantage. The Rams would also get outshot 50-21.

On Saturday Sylvan Lake would come into Rocky for a game against the Rams.
Heading into this game the Rams were looking to end a four game losing streak.
In the first period the Rams would strike first at 7:25, after Kyle Humphrey scored on the powerplay with assists coming from Nick Jervis and Tristan Hoffus. The lead was short lived though as the Wranglers would tie the game 1-1 with a powerplay goal of their own. The Rams kept pushing in the first period and would find the back of net when Caleb Christiansen would reclaim the lead 2-1, with assists coming off the sticks of Owen Green and Grady Mofford.
In the second period, the Rams powerplay would come to life again, scoring three times. It was Reid Christiansen scoring his 11th goal of the year and giving the Rams a two goal lead, 3-1. Scoring shortly after on the powerplay was Nick Jervis giving the Rams a 4-1 lead with assists coming Quinn Tomalty and Kyle Humphrey. The Rams would get put on the powerplay again, with captain Nick Jervis scoring his team leading 15th goal of the year, with assists coming from Kyle Humphrey and Grady Mofford, giving the Rams a 5-1 lead after 40 minutes.
The Wranglers opened up the scoring in the third period with a powerplay goal of their own from Austin Corsiatto, making the score 5-2. However, Kyle Goodrunning of the Rams would add another goal with assists from Cale Stecyk and Grady Mofford, to push the Rams to victory with a 6-2 final and snapping the Rams four game losing streak.
The Rams currently sit in 5th place in the Northern Division with a record of 6-12-2. The Rams are back in action on Dec. 2, for a home game against Airdrie. Puck drop is 8:30 at the Rocky Arena.
