Clearwater County will be auctioning off a high-hog portable loading chute.
The loading chute is described as a 2013 High-Hog chute with adjustable ramp, four stabilizer legs, removable hitch, and top wind jack. It has all steel construction, and County officials say it will be sold as-is.
The auction opened Thursday, April 13 and closes on Thursday, April 27.
County officials say there will be a two-day viewing held at the Central Transfer Station, located off the Rocky Airport Road (Range Road 7-2). The viewing will take place Wednesday, April 19 and Thursday, April 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Once the auction closes and the bids have been collected, there will be a meeting to determine the highest bidder. The meeting will take place Friday, April 28 at 1:00pm.
To submit a bid, place the bid amount in an envelope marked ‘Loading Chute Auction.’ Officials note inside the envelope must contain your name, name of equipment, date, and specific bid amount in whole dollars.
Once completed residents can drop the envelope off at the main County Administration building or the Agriculture and Community Services Building. .
***Buyer MUST pay in FULL within one week of successful bid, or the Loading Chute will go to the second highest bid.***
