The number of home sales in Rocky Mountain House was lower in May when compared to April as well as lower when compared to the same month last year.
According to the latest market update from the Central Alberta Realtors Association, there were 15 units sold in Rocky Mountain House last month, down from 20 sold in April and in May of last year.
Year-to-date number show 57 units sold so far this year, down from 90 units sold in the first five months of 2022.
The average sale price in Rocky last month was $374,650, up from April’s average price of $289,300 and $295,210 in May 2022.
The average number of days to sell a home in Rocky last month was 56 days, down from 94 days in April, but higher than the 52 days seen in May 2022.
Meanwhile in Clearwater County, there were 28 units sold last month, up from 26 units sold in April, but down from 32 units sold in May 2022.
Year-to-date numbers show 89 units sold throughout the county so far this year, down from 164 units sold over the first five months of 2022.
The average sale price in the County last month was $460,170, up from April’s $345,707 and $386,928 seen in May of last year.
The average number of days to sell a home in Clearwater County last month was 62 days, down from 103 days in April, but up from 50 days in April 2022.
For the entire central Alberta market, there were 558 units sold last month, up from 477 units sold in April, but down from 679 units sold in May 2022.
The average sale price throughout the entire central Alberta market last month was $352,265, down from April’s $355,219, and $363,944 seen in May 2022.
Meanwhile, the average number of days to sell throughout the entire central Alberta market last month was 49 days, lower then April’s 56, but higher then May 2022’s number of 45 days.
