Long periods of rainfall continued throughout Clearwater County yesterday.
Officials with Environment and Climate Change Canada say a Rainfall Warning remains in place as a significant low pressure system is bringing high precipitation amounts to west-central Alberta, and will continue until Wednesday morning.
Most of the precipitation is rain, however, western areas have also seen significant accumulating snow.
The Rainfall Warning affects the Rocky Mountain House-Caroline area, as well as the Nordegg Forestry Trunk Road Highway 734 areas.
Local areas that experienced heavy amounts of rain on Sunday include:

- Rocky Mountain House – 51.6 mm
Other areas that received high amounts of rainfall include:
- Hendrickson Creek – 174 mm
- Carrot Creek – 138.3 mm
- Edson – 122.5 mm
- Evansburg – 120 mm
- Jasper 99.6 mm
- Fort Assiniboine 98.1 mm
