A high streamflow advisory has been issued for the North Saskatchewan River.
Officials say, due to recent and expected precipitation, a high streamflow advisory has been issued for the tributaries of the North Saskatchewan River from Rocky Mountain House to Edmonton and the mainstem within the City of Edmonton.
Officials say, water levels rising in the tributaries over 1.2 m is possible. As the North Saskatchewan River flows through the city of Edmonton it may rise up 0.8 m by June 23, officials point out.
It’s noted no flood impacts are expected at this time.
