The Town of Rocky Mountain House and Clearwater County are giving their respective residents the chance to meet with a councillor.
On Friday Aug. 11, 2023, Clearwater County will be hosting their councillor drop-in session with councillor Michelle Swanson from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the County’s Main Administration Building.
County officials say Councillor drop-in sessions are intended to be an informal opportunity for councillors to reconnect with residents, or meet new ones, and hear their feedback, ideas and concerns. Officials say the goal is to encourage face-to-face meetings with councillors, in a relaxed and safe setting.
Meanwhile a town council member will be hosting Coffee with a Councillor on Thursday Aug. 18, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Council Chambers (5116-50 Avenue, upstairs in Town Office).
Town officials say, twice a month, one or more councillors will visit with residents either at the Town Office or at a community coffee shop. You can drop by with your questions, feedback or ideas.
The next County drop-in session is Friday Aug. 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the County’s Main Administration Building. Meanwhile, the Town’s next Coffee with a Councillor is Thursday Aug. 31, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the location still to be determined.
