A council member from both Clearwater County and the Town of Rocky Mountain House are offering residents a chance to meet with them this month.
On Friday Aug. 25, 2023, Clearwater County will be hosting their councillor drop-in session with councillor Sydney Graham from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the County’s Main Administration Building.
County officials say councillor drop-in sessions are intended to be an informal opportunity for councillors to reconnect with residents, or meet new ones, and hear their feedback, ideas and concerns. Officials say the goal is to encourage face-to-face meetings with councillors, in a relaxed and safe setting.
Meanwhile councillor Shane Boniface will be hosting Coffee with a Councillor on Thursday Aug. 31, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the location still to be determined.
Town officials say, twice a month, one or more councillors will visit with residents either at the Town Office or at a community coffee shop. You can drop by with your questions, feedback or ideas.
The next County drop-in session is Tuesday Aug. 29, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with councillor Bryan Cermak at the County’s Main Administration Building. Meanwhile, the Town’s next Coffee with a Councillor is Thursday Sept. 14, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with councillor Tina Hutchinson at Council Chambers.
