The Rocky Lions Club is hosting it’s 41st Demolition Derby this weekend.

The Demolition Derby is happening on Sunday, Aug. 27, down at the North Saskatchewan River Park. Action is set to kick off at 12:30 p.m..

Tickets are being sold at the door for $20, kids 10 and under get in for free. There will also be a concession and food trucks available.

Contestants have till the end of the day to enter the derby at Rivers Edge Mechanical (5044-44 Street).

Officials say there is limited seating and are asking residents to bring a lawn chair for more comfortable seating.
