Clearwater County is looking for landowners in the area for a fully funded pilot project.

County officials say, if you are a landowner with property adjacent to the marked pink waterbodies shown on the map, and are genuinely interested in participating in a fully funded project for riparian fencing or crop setbacks, to contact them.

Officials note, this project may involve a setback of 15-30 metres from the watercourse and a standard commitment of five years.

Officials add, it’s essential to understand that this initiative is a pilot program, and expressing your interest doesn’t guarantee that a project will be executed on your land.

The deadline for consideration is Oct. 29.
