The Rocky Rams are back in action this weekend with a pair of games.
On Friday, the Rams host the Ponoka Stampeders at the Rocky Arena. Puck drop is 8:30 p.m. The Rams come into the game after winning back-to-back games for the first time this season. Meanwhile, the Stampeders come into this game still looking for their first win of the season after struggling out of the gate with a record of 0-9-0 and sitting in last place in the HJHL’s Northern Division. During these nine games the Stampeders have been outscored 91-12.
On Saturday the Rams will travel to High River to play the Brewing Co. Flyers. The Rams and Flyers have met once this season and it was the Rams who picked up a 6-5 victory. Currently the High Rive Brewing Co. Flyers are sitting in last place in the Southern Division with a record of 4-3-1.
The Rams are currently sitting in third place with a record of 4-3-1 in the Northern Division.
Puck drop vs the Flyers is set for 8:15 p.m. at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.
