Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has released data on notable snowfall amounts seen throughout many parts of Alberta this week, including the Rocky Mountain House area.
Officials say, the first significant snowfall of the season fell over parts of the province beginning Monday.
The Nordegg area received the most with 22cm, then the Rocky Mountain House area which received 15cm, and another 14cm of snow recorded just east of Sundre.
Other noteable areas include:
- Claresholm – 15cm
- Calgary Int’l Airport – 14cm
- Banff – 11cm
- Lacombe – 11cm
- Carway – 11cm
- Medicine Hat – 6cm
