The Rocky Rams will have their work cut out for them this weekend with a pair games against the two top teams.
On Friday, the Rams will travel to Sylvan Lake for a date with the Wranglers. The Wranglers come into this game with an 8-2-1 record which puts them in first place in the Northern Division. The Wranglers are looking to improve on their four game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Rams are looking to win three games in a row for the first time this season. This is the first time these two teams will meet this season.
Puck drop for this rivalry game is 8:00 p.m. at the NexSource Centre.
On Saturday, the Rams are back at home to face the Carstar Okotoks Bisons. The Bisons are coming into this game with a 10-1-0 record, which places them in first place in the HJHL’s Northern Division. Heading into Fridays game the Bisons are on a six game winning streak. This will be the second meeting this season between the two. In the first meeting, the Bisons would get the better of the Rams, beating them 4-3.
Puck drop for this game is 7:30 p.m. at the Rocky Arena.
Heading into this weekend the Rams sit in second place in the Northern Division with a record of 7-4-1.
