The Rocky Rams return to action this weekend with a pair of home games.
On Friday, the Rams will host the Mountainview Colts who have a record of 7-8-4, which places them third in the Heritage Junior Hockey League’s Northern Division. The Colts come into this game with a 2-3 record over their last five games. The last time these two teams met, it was the Colts who got the better of the Rams, winning 3-2 in overtime.
Puck drop vs the Colts is 8:30 p.m. at the Rocky Arena.
Meanwhile on Sunday, the Medicine Hat Cubs come into town for a date with the Rams.
The Cubs come into this game with a 13-3-3 record placing them in second place in the Southern Division. The Cubs come into this game winning three of their last five games. The Rams will look for some revenge as the last time they played it was the Cubs beating the Rams in a high scoring game 7-6.
The game is also teddy bear toss night where after the first goal scored by the Rams, everyone in the stands can throw their teddy bear on the ice.
All teddy bears will be donated to Santa’s anonymous in Rocky Mountain House.
