After announcing the outdoor rink in Rocky Mountain House was open on Friday, the Town has now announced the oval rink is open.

Town officials say the rink adjacent to the Bunch arena, on the north side of the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre, is ready for skating, as well as the oval.

Reminders from the Town:

• Sticks, pucks and shinny are only allowed on the outdoor rink.
• Sticks and pucks are not allowed on the oval.
• Helmets are recommended.
• The outdoor skating areas are for everyone.
• Respect other skaters.
