The number of home sales in Rocky Mountain House in January were lower when compared to December, and in the same month last year.
According to the latest Residential Market Update from Central Alberta Realtors Association, there were two units sold in Rocky Mountain House in January, down from five units sold in December and four units sold in January 2023.
Meantime, the average sale price in Rocky Mountain House last month was $316,500, up from the $248,700 in December, but slightly lower from $316,875 in January of last year.
The average number of days to sell a home in Rocky Mountain House in January was 80 days, down from December’s 91, as well as down from 96 days in January 2023.
Meanwhile, in Clearwater County, there were four units sold last month, down from December’s total of 11, and down from January 2023 with seven units sold.
The average sale price in Clearwater County last month hit $491,000, which is up from December’s average of $361,227, and up from January 2023’s average sale price of $361,786.
The average number of days to sell a home in Clearwater County last month was 86 day, down from 91 days in December, and 110 days in January 2023.
For the entire Central Alberta market, there were 184 units sold last month, lower than December’s 253, and lower than the January 2023 total of 216.
The average sale price for the entire Central Alberta market last month was $466,941, up from December’s $385,694, as well as up from the January 2023 total of $341,271.
The average number of days to sell a home for the entire Central Alberta market last month was 66 days, up from last month’s 59 days, but when compared to January 2023 it was lower than the 83 days it took to sell a unit, on average.
