The largest winter storm of the season came overnight on Sunday with significant snowfall to a large portion of Central Alberta.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the heaviest swath of snow fell among the Yellowhead corridor through the City Edmonton.
However, the Rocky Mountain House and Nordegg areas also saw significant snowfall.
The Rocky Mountain House area received 6 cms of snow on Sunday, with the Nordegg area receiving 8 cms.
