The Nordegg area saw record breaking high temperatures for March 18.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the Nordegg area recorded a temperature of 18.8 degrees Celsius beating the previous record of 16.6 degrees Celsius set in 2019. Records in the Nordegg area have been kept since 1915.
According to ECCC, the warm weather will give way to daytime highs below zero and snowy conditions are expected to prevail for much of the week.
