According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), at least 10 to 15 centimeters of snow is expected to fall in the Clearwater County region with some areas receiving as much as 30 cm of snowfall by Friday morning.
They remind motorists that surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
They add that drivers should be prepared to adjust driving with changing road conditions and to turn on their headlights and maintain safe following distances.
