Springtime weather is not too far away and you may be thinking about home improvements.

Officials with the town of Rocky Mountain House say one option could be the Clean Energy Incentive Program (CEIP).

Renee Hartling with the town of Rocky Mountain House says there is a lot of upgrade options available. “Upgrades include energy efficient windows and doors, insulation, solar PV and solar thermal, HVAC equipment & more.

Hartling also says the program is off to a good start. “We have had a total of twenty seven applications that were submitted since the program was initiated.”

Laura Button with the town of Rocky Mountain House adds that the repayment is not tied to the property owner, but to the property itself. “If somebody purchases the property, and the repayment is still ongoing, that gets transferred to the new owner.”
