March brought an increase to the number of home sales in Rocky Mountain House when compared to the month before.
That’s according to the latest Market Update from Central Alberta Realtors Association which shows 17 units sold last month, up from eight units sold in February, but down from 22 units sold in March 2023.
Year-to-date numbers show 27 units sold in Rocky Mountain House so far in 2024, down slightly from 33 units sold during the first three months of last year.
The average sale price in Rocky Mountain House last month was $295,259, up from $258,333 in February and down from $323,843 in March 2023.
Meantime, the average number of days to sell a home in Rocky Mountain House in March was 33, down sharply from 156 days in February and down from 119 days in March of last year.
For the entire Central Alberta market, there were 1,112 units sold in March, up from 628 units sold in February and 914 units sold in March 2023.
Year-to-date figures show 2013 units sold throughout central Alberta in the first 3 months of this year, up from 1606 units sold to this point last year.
The average sale price in Central Alberta in March was $385,699, down slightly from $389,583 in February but up from $336,056 during the same month last year.
The average number of days to sell a home in Central Alberta last month was 51, down from 59 days in March and 61 days in February 2023.
