Discover Rocky wants local businesses to get into the spirit ahead of the 50th Rocky Pro Rodeo by dressing up in western regalia and decorating their storefronts in western themes.

And, as chair of Discover Rocky, Matt Lambert says, there’s prizes up for grabs.

Prizes include $500 sponsored by the Rocky Chamber for best decorated business, and a $500 prize from Henry’s Western Wear for best dressed, says Lambert.

Lambert adds, businesses can enter to win both.

“The contest dates are June 6-9,” says Lambert. “Judging will be done by Henry’s Western Wear on June 7”.

Response to the contest has been positive already with around 30 businesses signed up, says Lambert.

Founded in March 2023, Discover Rocky’s mission is to promote tourism in the region and create a common goal for the local tourism industry, says Lambert.
