Continuing a trend from the previous month, May saw an increase to the number of home sales in Rocky Mountain House.
That’s according to the latest Market Update from Central Alberta Realtors Association which shows 18 units sold last month, up from 11 units sold in April, and up from 15 units sold in May 2023.
Year-to-date numbers show 46 units sold in Rocky Mountain House so far in 2024, down from 57 units sold during the first five months of last year.
The average sale price in Rocky Mountain House last month was $300,633, down from $328,182 in April and $374,650 in May 2023.
Meantime, the average number of days to sell a home in Rocky Mountain House in May was 77, up from 64 days in April and 56 days in May of last year.
In Clearwater County, there were 30 units sold last month, up from 22 sold in April, and 28 units sold during the same month last year.
Year to date numbers show 86 units sold in Clearwater County so far this year, down slightly from 89 units sold to the end of May last year.
The average sale price in Clearwater County in May was $395,630, down from $423,450 in April, and $460,170 in May 2023.
The average number of days to sell a home in Clearwater County last month was 86 days, up from 59 days in April, and 62 days during the same month last year.
May’s figures were unavailable as of this writing for the entire Central Alberta market.
