As the West County area gets ready to celebrate the first Marketplace on Main of the season, Rocky Mountain House councillors will be descending on Main Street June 27 to be part of the fun.
It’s not all fun and games, however, as they’ll be there partially on business as part of council’s monthly Coffee With A Councillor.
Previous 2024 meetings have taken place at A&W, Copper Creek Cafe and McDonalds, but this month, it’s at Rocky’s popular summer market.
For this month’s meeting, councillors Dave Auld, Marley Capraro, Len Phillips and Tina Hutchinson will be in attendance.
Laura Button, Communications Coordinator with the Town of Rocky Mountain House says Coffee With A Councillor is the public’s chance to bend the ear of a local elected official.
“Councillors take turns meeting with the public and local businesses where you can come with your questions and ideas,” says Button. “You can stop by and get a coffee or cup of tea and have a chat.”
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m.
