Continuing a trend from the previous month, June saw a slight increase to the number of home sales in Rocky Mountain House.
That’s according to the latest Market Update from Central Alberta Realtors Association which shows 19 units sold last month, up from 18 units sold in May, and on-par with 19 units sold in June 2023.
Year-to-date numbers show 65 units sold in Rocky Mountain House so far in 2024, down from 76 units sold during the first six months of last year.
The average sale price in Rocky Mountain House last month was $327,068, up from $300,633 in May and up from $296,737 in June 2023.
Meantime, the average number of days to sell a home in Rocky Mountain House in June was 54, down from 77 days in May, and similar to the 53 days in June of last year.
In Clearwater County, there were 31 units sold last month, on-par with 30 sold in May, and 32 units sold during the same month last year.
Year to date numbers show 117 units sold in Clearwater County so far this year, similar to the 121 units sold to the end of June last year.
The average sale price in Clearwater County in June was $402,431, up from $395,630 in May, and up sharply from $340,122 in June 2023.
The average number of days to sell a home in Clearwater County last month was 62 days, down from 86 days in May, and up from 50 days during the same month last year.
A total of 572 units were sold in the entire central Alberta market in June. Year-to-date numbers show 2,870 units were sold in all so far in 2024.
