The West Country region will get to enjoy one more day of Battle of the Rockies, as day four of the event has been postponed.
According to a post on the World Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA) Facebook page, Sunday’s scheduled races have been postponed due to to unsafe racing conditions as a result of recent rain in the area.
As of the end of day 3 events on Saturday, Chance Vigen holds the best aggregate time so far at 4:03.35, followed by Wade Salmond, Luke Tournier, and Chance Thompson.
The races are slated to go Monday, Aug. 19 at 7:00pm at North Saskatchewan River Park.
All Sunday tickets will be honoured on Monday, say organizers.
