Officials with STARS Air Ambulance says it was dispatched to the Nordegg area at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 25 for a scene call emergency related to an off-highway vehicle (OHV) accident.

A male patient in his 70s was flown from the scene to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, say officials.

An update on the patient’s condition from STARS officials was not available at time of publishing.

An RCMP spokesperson confirms the Rocky Mountain House detachment received a report of a single off-highway vehicle (OHV) rollover off a cliff in a remote area south of Nordegg.

RCMP officials say the lone OHV occupant sustained serious injuries, and did not have an update on his condition.
