Rocky Mountain House acting mayor Marley Capraro, along with councillor Tina Hutchinson are scheduled to attend the Sept. 12 Coffee With A Councillor.

First introduced in 2023, the monthly event serves as a sounding board for residents to field their thoughts and to meet local elected officials face-to-face.

Laura Button, communications coordinator with the Town of Rocky Mountain House says Coffee With A Councillor is all about public engagement.

“Councillors take turns meeting with the public and local businesses where you can come with your questions and ideas,” says Button. “You can stop by and get a coffee or cup of tea and have a chat.”

The previous Coffee With A Councillor was held at the final 2024 Marketplace on Main.

September’s event starts at 5:30 p.m. at the north Tim Hortons (5207, 48 St.).
