The Nordegg area has broken a 71-year-old weather record for October 14.
According to Environment & Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the Nordegg area got up to 20.9 degrees Celsius on Oct. 14, 2024, beating the old record of 19.4 degrees Celsius set in 1953.
Temperature records have been kept in the Nordegg area since 1915.
