Rocky Mountain House businesses have come together to once again present Halloween on Main Street.
Organizer Cynthia McCaughley say families are invited to show off their costumes and enjoy safe, business to business trick or treating.
Additionally, participants are invited to get their official Halloween on Main Street stamp card. After getting their card, participants will then visit all three participating Main St. businesses for a chance to win prizes.
The event was been extremely well received in years past, says McCaughley, as upwards of 1,000 people show up on Main Street along with 800 trick or treaters.

According to a post on social media, there will also be some spooky fun for the grown ups as well at participating businesses.
Organizers say they are still looking for volunteers to help with the event as well as donations of candy to ensure it doesn’t run out.
Along with treats and prizes, McCaughley says it’s a great opportunity to explore downtown.
“The whole intention is to get people out to explore our beautiful Main Street and to check out some of the new businesses that they may not have even noticed have popped up,” says McCaughley.

Halloween on Main Street takes place Saturday Oct. 19 from 12-2 p.m. rain or shine.
